It looked like a white faced Explorer II to me.

I stand corrected. I just saw a close up in slow motion and it does appear to be the YMII.

White Gold Daytona, had chrono pushers on the side. Now it is a toss up for me who is the greatest all time between Sampras, Borg and Federer. I am happy for Fed. Usually I root for the underdog but I cannot help liking Federer.

Since this is a tennis thread I'll get back to the game itself.
I don't think that Federer would allow himself not to win, since Nadal wasn't there! He was doomed to win. It was his only chance and he knew it. Now he is the sixth player to hold all four Grand slams, along with Andre Agassi, Fred Perry, Don Budge, Rod Laver και Roy Emerson. And he tied Pete Sampras's 14 Grand Slams record!

Too much talk about Federer. I rarely see Robin Söderling's name in these discussions. Before this final, the closest he had been in a Grand Slam was third round. He defeated four top 15 players on his way to the final. I admit that Federer is a great player and played extraordinarly well today, but, being a Swede myself, I am really impressed with Söderling's effort.
Did anyone listen to his speech after the match? |

I think Robin was the equivalent of Marcos Bagdatis in the Australian Open several years ago. Although i like Fed, i did wish for a major upset in either event. Let's hope promising players like Marcos and Robin do rise up to the challenge and not fade into obscurity. |

glad Fed won the open at the end - although i wanted Söderling to have a major upset.
dont think Fed would forgive himself if he didnt win since Nadal got knocked out. hope to see another great match between Nadal and Fed at The Championship. |
