Rolex gifts from your AD

Just wondering if your local AD gifts you anything. I remember reading about some gifts that were a common occurrence just for stopping in. Is that still happening? Or perhaps if your a repeat customer, do you get a surprise gift occasionally?

Pretty hit and miss but can grab the occasional watch book when I’m in but rarely get anything else.

I’ve only gotten gifts when I’ve purchased a new watch. A Rolex branded wallet along with my Daytona and a Baseball Cap with Rolex logo with a Coral OP.

Cheers!

Cologne and a wallet on first purchase and just the awesome Rootbeer for the second. No gift. and that was just fine by me. I hear the AD have to pay for the gifts themselves. They are not free from Rolex HQ.

I think it’s the other way around in today’s market. Customers and gifting the ADs stuff to be in their good graces and get an allocation!

Got a Wolf watch winder with my purchase. I neither asked for nor expected anything so I was surprised. Truthfully I was just pleased to buy the watch.

Those days are long gone!
Nowadays, they expect you to get them something in return for getting you the watch!

Mmm ... chocolate. Reminds me of the breitling chocolate boxes full of chocolate that some breitling customers would receive. A vintage-look box is always a cool collectable in itself!

I got many gifts from Rolex boutique but never get any gift from AD, both are own by the same family.

Gifts were watch winders, one, two and three watches case, Rolex cologne, pen with my initial and Godiva chocolates in Rolex containers.

Ok let me see, Rolex hat, umbrella, wallet, watch travel case, Rolex carry bag, few Rolex pens and some books. I also got invited to some private Rolex events and one of my AD’s always takes his top buyers to see some shows and performances charge free, I am not sure if thats considered as gifts.

A single watch holder for visiting the new release of exhibition models last year and disappointingly with my last purchase (WG Daytona), a small bottle of Poland Spring.
Seriously I can’t complain, since all my purchases are at retail....

A Rolex catalogue with a picture of the watch I've been waiting for in it.

I cut the picture out and wear it on my wrist. But I can't take it swimming.

A very nice hunter green hat with subtle Rolex branding along the sides. I was also given the option of an umbrella, but seeing that I almost never used one, the hat was an easy choice.
