126610LN Sub on a Rubber B band
I've been interested in putting my sub on a black rubber strap for a while and finally pulled the trigger recently.
I bought the Tang strap from Rubber B and so far really like it. The integration with the case is quite seamless, it looks sharp and it's quite comfortable. Overall really like how sporty it makes the watch look now. Feels more casual which I kinda like. |

Looks great! I’m thinking of getting one as well. What made you decide to go with the tang and not use your Rolex clasp?

It looks too much like the Yachtmaster IMO. I do love Oysterflex on Daytona.

126610LN Sub on a Rubber B band
I picked up a Rubber B this past weekend for mine, not as supple as I thought it would be but still nice…and it should be for $250 pieces of rubber.

I like this. I have wanted to do it as well. I just have two things holding me back, I think the price is outrageous for a piece of rubber (yes I know $250 isn't that much but it is principal) and then me scratching my watch trying to swap the bracelet out.
Yours looks fantastic. |

"Lume Shot" on Youtube has a good video about how to change out the straps (I can't post links yet unfortunately, but just search Lume shot rolex bracelet) and I used the Bergeon 7825 spring bar tool (make sure to get that one, since some of the others don't fit modern rolex sport watches) that was recommended in the video About $500 between the tool and the strap by the time you're done, but I feel like it changes the watch up enough to make it feel completely different. |

Looks very sharp, nice choice. I am looking at the rubber B for my JC DSSD, it has a nice two tone blue/black sporty look to it.

Maybe Rubber B and Horus are owned by same company but I don’t think so? I had a knock off rubber strap w/ cheap deployment clasp from Etsy for my 5 digit sub (now gone) and the Rubber B is a lot more comfortable, no question - it was also 5x as expensive… I got this Rubber B rather than Horus as I wanted to use the Rolex clasp. The rubber is not as supple as I hoped but it’s still great quality and fits around my wrist just fine, maybe over time it will soften up a little. |

126610LN Sub on a Rubber B band

I don’t know either, Horus was founded in 2014 I believe, never heard of Rubber B before. But then again I never really looked, Horus was the first brand I came across and the straps are good value, same price range at £150ish. I believe you can add a Rolex clasp too, I just got mine with the polished buckle that comes with them. Main reason I rate rubber is that I don’t scratch my clasps and bracelets. Only negative for me is the rubber attracting hairs and dust. It all sticks to it, bad if you have dogs like I do. You can see in my pic with the the green strap that it’s a slightly dusty and covered in bits. But overall I like them. Compared to my Omega strap on my Seamaster they get second place though. The rubber there is perfect and it feels more solid. They’re a bit more pricey (£220) so I guess that’s where the extra money goes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
