Where have all the Cellinis gone?

I must have missed this happening, but where have all the Cellini models gone?

Website is showing the Moonphase only.

They removed the dual time last year. I think they should switchup the Cellini range to be more avant garde like it was in the past with the King Midas, or other models that had unique style bracelets and cases. The old man leather dress watch seems dead to me, and for those who care about that, theyd rather buy a patek anyways.

I respectfully disagree with some of the comments above …

I love Dress Watches …

I have a need for a Dress Watch.

I like the PP Calatrava … I like a lot the A. Lange choices … I like a lot the Breguet Classique watches … but I also like a lot the Rolex Cellini watches.

I am sad to see them go, if they are in fact discontinued.

I love this classic / true 3 hand dress watch Cellini … but … I think it can be worn casually also.

If they stole the date function from the Moon Phase model, and added it to this watch, I would be in heaven … and at the Rolex Boutique waiting for the door to open !!!

It’s been like that since last March.

I would love a Cellini too. I think they’d be perfectly fine fine to wear for weekend brunch, not just for formal affairs. It’s in a different price range than Calatrava, so I don’t really compare the two.

If I'm buying a nice dress watch, it's not anything from the Crown.

There are better options for that, in my opinion.

Clearly Rolex does their own thing. They could take some design cues from ALS and PP for a product line revision. If they came up with a very strong line, it would add balance to their lineup. Not that they are a one trick pony…..

Last time I looked there were three models showing on the website, and that would be in the past couple of months.

I agree the pointer date gives a Jazz Age feel to a dressier watch.

The Cellini missed its opportunity. It was never popular, and now dress watches have lost their place in the modern workplace; it's a trend ongoing for a couple decades. Like mentioned above, for those who choose to spend their free time in a black-tie social circle, you can probably afford the high end pieces anyway. I love me a good moonphase but I'd literally never wear it.

JLC makes the master control that is technically a better choice at a lower price point. If I wore anything dressy, that would get the nod

I think the cost is deal breaker. Always better alternatives across the range.
