Got my BB58 925 last week. I must say, this is one of the coolest watches I’ve ever owned. The silver it’s so warm and luminescent, and the taupe color dial bezel is unreal. The size is perfect. The leather band, is good for what it is, but I took it off almost mediately and put on a rubber strap

Last week in the mountains at 11000 ft this week at sea level.

Some have asked for front / side shots. Tarnish started but not as pronounced.

Thanks for sharing these shots. Looks like you've managed a fairly even patina that looks nice. Are you planning on keeping this look or doing a "refresh"?

I’m A big patina guy, so I’m going to let this roll. I’ve got a bronze Oris that basically looks like it caught fire over the years super cool. I took it into an AD today to show

Two days in the water (guessing ocean) tarnished yours that much?!?

I purchased my silver Tudor BB 58 925 last month and I’ve been using mine freediving and surfing in salt water, swimming in chlorinated pools and fresh water creeks, hiking out in the sun, etc. daily while on vacation for the past few weeks and I haven’t noticed any tarnish or patina on mine (yet).

I just picked one up today. (My first Tudor) I stopped in at my AD this afternoon to find out whether they had any idea when the BB Pro would be available, and the 925 was in the display case just staring at me.

I'll post a photo later today (it's currently in the box.)

Congrats !! This is one of the coolest watches I own. It’s fascinating.

Tarnish update today: almost looks like the case got burned.

Congrats Scott and Michael1968!

For what it’s worth, mine came on the leather strap as well.

TARNISH UPDATE! 5 days in the ocean / pool / sand (this watch is less than 2 weeks old from AD and I’ve done nothing to it but wear it everywhere):

It really is dramatic for such a short time, even with the activity you're putting it through...though I have to say it is a nice shade against the bezel and dial. The two extremes look quite good to me, the bright hue of the silver compared to steel in "new" phase as well as the well-worn/heavy patina.

To me it’s like when you send the kids to school with a brand new pair of shoes and they come back mud splattered and wrecked.

You know they had fun but inside you’re like arrrrrrggggghhhhh

Totally agree — here’s a side shot showing the contrast to the two week old bezel and dial

There’s a little bit of that, I’m not gonna lie. But I’m loving the personality that it’s quickly developing; I am just perplexed at the tutor claims that ‘this watch will not tarnish in less than 1 millions years’ or words to that effect. Lol.

The play between the colours of dial/bezel and the patinated silver is really nice.

Also, I like the rubber strap look on the watch.

Hey all,

Would anyone be willing to sell the OEM Leather strap that came with the 925?

Cheers!
