What’s interesting is that the combined votes of the 2 GMTs are beating the
2 Daytonas … at the moment anyway |

SS Poll - GMT, Sub, Daytona

It’s amazing that the Daytona white is first but the Daytona black is last in the poll. It’s also interesting that those that own the black Daytona (amongst others in their collection) seem to choose the black Daytona as the one and only. I guess one really has to experience it vs. looking at Instagram pictures. The black Daytona is so perfect as a singular watch. As I mentioned above, it has the wearability (and stealthiness) of a black Sub yet so much more special. I think it is the “Rolex insiders” secret Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Still a lot of time left for this poll, but white dial Daytona and Pepsi continue to lead, followed by the BLNR.

Interesting regarding subs only and this poll on subs:

Black sub with date. Always have and always will say this is by far the best one watch of any watch and any brand period. It just works with everything, every occasion and every where.

Of those choices I'd have to go with the "116500 LN Black Dial", even though I've never had any desire to own a Daytona!
Now if you'd thrown in a bunch of 11 series GMTs and Subs, instead of the 12's, then I'd have said the 116710BLNR without a moment's hesistation.

I find the new Submariner with the green bezel to be the most desirable Rolex currently offered.

I agree with this. The black dial 116500 is the best. If I had to choose one, that’s the one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I like to drink Coke and wear a Pepsi!
For me the BLRO wins hands down compared to the Daytona, which has a less useful complication, is less legible, has no date and is a bit dainty on my wrist. The subs fit in between but I prefer the Sea-Dweller 126600 when we're talking diving watches.... |

Tight between the Sub & Daytona - but would be Sub - feels more robust - GMT would be 3rd - that said I want all 3 lol - already have the Sub - going to work on the rest
