The GMT is positioned as a non-tool watch. SS Oyster perpetuals, explorers and subs are brushed, you're supposed to let them get beat up. One can certainly argue that GMT is still a tool watch but the Rolex marketing is definitely pushing it up the bling hierarchy.

Rolex is pretty restrictive on bracelet options that's for sure. At least all their modern bracelet's are amazing and compatibility is good, you're just on your own.
