Won't hurt the watch, but WHY? What else will you wear in the sauna?

For one thing, I wouldn't leave mine in a locker. Secondly, how often do you read about people taking them off and dropping them on the tile floor? Finally, why wear it in a sauna?...because you can.

Uh, I do not know why no-one has mentioned it yet, but: you are NOT suppose to wear any metal in a sauna. Saunas are HOT. Metal objects get very hot. No rings, no watches, no bracelets, no chains. Even staples in a Newsweek get uncomfortably hot.

I would not wear the watch in a sauna. Leave it at home.

if you want happiness, seek the middle path and avoid extremes. saunas are extremely hot/humid places.

I thought it was mandatory to wear a gold medallion necklace and Day-Date in a sauna. |

I wouldn't.
I would worry about expansion and contraction given such quick and dramatic changes in temperature. |

If it stays next to the skin.. No problem... people put cross's etc on chains behind there back so its in contact with the skin and not hanging loose (excuse the pun).. I've seen sauna novices have a medelion hanging on a chain in front of them scream when they stand up, and it's again in contact with the skin.. quite amusing to watch..but watches, rings.. etc are fine, and safer then being in a locker.

If your body can take it, Rolex can. I'm sure A Rolex can tolerate a much larger temperature ranges than our body can.

Ive worn my Yachtmaster in the sauna many times with no problems whatsoever.
Ive also worn it in the jacuzzi and the high pressure water jets caused it no problems either. |

Don't sound good to wear in a sauna. However if I am wearing my precious watch I would not take it off and put in the locker.Would rather go sauna with it.

You could, but you take the chance that your SD will become a Sub if you stay in too long!
