Alone
I’ve been binge watching this show lately. It’s really interesting and a bit different than most “survival” shows. The premise is you choose a limited number of items (10) aside from clothing and get dumped in a harsh wilderness to survive. The last one standing wins. It’s interesting in that you hav enough idea how many people are left or where you stand in the contest. I honestly don’t think I’d make it a week yet some of these folks do 100 days!!! How long could you last dumped in the Arctic or similarly harsh environment?

I love that show! I’m a huge outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman, archer, hiker. I basically look for any reason to be outdoors and active… I don’t think I’d make it more than a week

Same here man. Spend lots of time in the woods alone and I think I’d tap embarrassingly early. Lol

I love the outdoors, but I don't think I'd last more than an hour or 2.

Alone is probably my favorite show, I would love to be a contestant. I’d probably be dead in an hour, but still I want to try it. I have had training and am very confident in my ability to SURVIVE in the wilderness. I am OCD about my equipment and preparation whenever I go in to the wild (I belong to a volunteer mountain search and rescue organization) and know I could survive an unplanned night (or two or three or ?) in the wilderness, but this show is a whole new level. These people don’t just survive, they have to thrive and live with nothing more then a few basic tools and their knowledge and experience. I would relish the chance at this. But… like I said, I’d probably be dead in an hour |

I was very disappointed that the laziest contestant I've ever seen made it to the end.

My wife and I binged several seasons during covid. For the most part it’s people eating rodents and thatching log shacks but we found it entertaining to guess who’s making it.

Have watched all available Seasons and love it - both Wife and self - which is unusual.
Find it absolutely fascinating to see what some people are capable of. The food/nutrition is the killer Very unreliable and then hard to store. I would not be prepared to damage my body in this way (likewise Survivor) as I think there must be a legacy for this treatment. Happy to watch others do it, however.

This is one of contestants that was on Alone. This show is very real. People have gotten really hurt. A lady got frostbite on the toes. Another starved himself so long that even if he loaded up on the fish he was saving he would have died in days or less when the medics arrived to his camp.
