My MB&F Legacy Machine Perpetual

This thing is...wild!

I wasn't really "in to" the whole MB&F ethos...other collectors would either rave about them or agree with me that I needed to take a bit more LSD to appreciate the brand.

That said, I've always appreciated their fresh take on watchmaking and the perpetual calendar seemed the nearest thing to my eyes to being this side of outerspace!

Well, this thing arrived and I'm blown away! The craftmanship is off the charts...the finishing is an absolute joy to observe via loup or even with my plain old eyes!

The quick reset features for the subdials is revolutionary compared to other QPs. This is a real work of art and science. I'm now a big fan of MB&F.

If you haven't had the opportunity to hold one in your hands...see what you can do to find one. Remarkable.

Pix to follow

Congrats, and WOW WOW WOW what a timepiece!!! Thanks for posting pics

Have a feeling many reading this are as you felt initially, and if someone has never personally seen, held one, and/or took a loop to an MB&F then they really should.

Seeing an MB&F timepiece in person makes a BIG difference. Imho MB&F is far ahead of pretty much anyone else for that more classic handcrafted horology... yet with a modern interpretation. Their movements and 'dials' are very creative too.

Congrats again and look forward to a (hopeful) 'A Month On The Wrist' post by you.

Congrats. I got to play with one a few months ago and it’s one of my favourites. Very hard to capture how crazy the movement is in pics.
