126719BLRO Pepsi Blue Dial owners - how do you like your watch?

I’ve been waiting patiently for this one. Talk to me. How do you like the watch? Comparison good and bad to stainless steel?

I own this watch along with several SS. For me there is nothing like precious metals; it's the weight. When I put on a SS, it almost feels "cheap"
Enjoy

The color of the blue dial is great with the bezel. And the glow of the white gold is also great in comparison with the SS.

In general i dont like the the supercase very much, and hope they will change it soon. It's funny that they have keept it for the gmt that long

I think it would have been great to make the white gold on jubilee and the SS on Oyster with no polished parts.

I have had the SS blro, which i did'nt use much, which is not the case with the blro white gold. So that's a good sign.

Absolute sleeper. The heft leaves SS in the dust.
I've kept it with the black dial as I prefer the nostalgia of the classic look.

I don’t own a 126719BLRO but I’ve tried one on, as well as a 116719BLRO with the black dial, and IMO the black dial wins hands down. The blue dial just doesn’t match the blue of the bezel (or it certainly didn’t on the one I tried), so you end up with a weird clash of colours. They should’ve made the blue dial out of ceramic - the same ceramic as the bezel.

I know some people like the blue dial because it shows off the fact they have the WG version, but IMO the classic black dial is the way to go. Personally I think the WG version of the BLRO is nicer looking than the SS as the warmer tones of the WG work better with the muted bezel colours IMO.

WG feels much more special. I prefer the black dial 116719. Best of both worlds.

PM is great if you don't mind the softness in the metal. Knocks and scrapes can be a little different.

Love mine. I am one of those that actually prefer the blue dial. It's this muted khaki blue almost in direct sunlight and while it doesn't match anything, gives it a quirky personality. In every other condition the dial is almost black. I love how it wears. The weight reminds me of the SD43. Unlike the BLNR Jubilee, this one does not "disappear" on wrist after a while. You'll always know it's there.

I owned this one for a short time, as well as the SS Pepsi on Jubilee. At first I absolutely loved the blue dial and the weight of the WG. It was especially amazing outside in sunlight. However, I started being bothered that the watch looked like a plain Jane Pepsi whenever I was inside, especially in darker light. I wasn't able to justify owning both pieces and decided to let the WG Pepsi go.

That is what I have heard! I need to figure out if I could handle the weight.

I'm not a huge fan of the maxi-case either, but it's better on the GMTs than on the Subs at least.

I guess I will need to see what it looks like. I'm fine with quirky watches - but if it's completely off then that will be an issue.

Yeah ... a concern.

Yikes on the SD43 comparison. Although I don't think it was the weight that bothered me so much on the SD43 as the case shape.

Hmmm. I'm guessing you could have made more profit selling the Stainless Steel BLRO and keeping the White Gold BLRO ... but I understand the actual sale price of the WG one was higher.
