First snow!

Well, today we were treated to our first snow of the season - this is a bit earlier than usual. It snowed on and off all afternoon, and I'm not just talking about flurries either. There were times when I could not see the Beer Store across the road out my office window! Panick set in momentarily, but it eventually cleared up so I was able to relax!

So there was a decision to be made.....I always said if I ever acquired a roadster I would not be "one of those guys" driving around with the top down when it's freezing out. Of course my wife likes it to be above 20 C before I put the top down, but I have been going to and from work with it as low as 15. Well today I did part of the trip home at 5 C and with this falling:

Yes, that is snow - hard to capture in a photo......here's a better view:

With the wind deflector installed, the heated seats on, and the heater blasting, I was quite comfortable. I'm not sure I would make it a habit, but I wanted to see how cold it really was. I do miss the heated steering wheel in the car I had previously.....

Fortunately the snow is not sticking, so the roads were not terribly slippery, but the long dark winter is definitely coming......

Hey Avalon,

It snowed here around 4pm this afternoon in Markham. Which vicinity of Canada are you?

It snowed all morning here. Couldn't see the golf balls. And to think I'm in Illinois, a LONG way south of you Canadian guys.

Enough, already! This is much too early.

I'm sorry I had to break it to you that way, Earl. I hope your system can take the jolt.
