Trimming down collection.. Need inputs
Lets say your collection is a mix of the following rolex watches namely:
--Submariner Line-- Hulk Kermit --GMT Line -- Ceramic black Ceramic pepsi jubilee Ceramic Batman oyster Gmt Coke -- Daytona Line -- Ceramic Daytona Black Ceramic Daytona Panda Steel Daytona Black Steel Daytona White Now you spot some investment opportunities and must trim down your collection to 4-5watches. I guess if you’re trying to get the most money out of your collection, you’d sell the ones that are worth the most. I’d keep one if each complication and sell the rest

Should be pretty straightforward since you only have 3 different models in multiple configurations and colors. Pick your favorite from each model line and you will have 3 great watches and recoup some $$ for investing.

I would keep the steel white Daytona, Gmt coke and Kermit. I would dump everything else. Why? Most of the watches I recommend getting rid of are either in production and/or hype model that are mass marketed and would be easily repurchased. You have a nice collection and have scratched the Rolex itch. If it’s time to move on, then do it and don’t look back.

I'd mostly trim them all except maybe the Ceramic white because it's the most iconic Rolex. or if you have the panna cotta then keep that one instead.
A green aquanaut can take the place of the flashy green you wanted with the hulk and kermit. It's just a few more levels up so i'd probably move up to get that instead. GMT, i guess i'd have to keep one because it's an icon. So out of these, the coke if it's a 16760 Fat Lady. if it ain't a fat lady then probably dump all to grab blueberry or meteorite GMT. Daytonas, honestly i'd get rid of all of them and try to move a 4 digit tropical dial. What's more iconic than that and better for eggplant measuring contests than that? I'd basically consolidate and move up. Too many of these stainless and it's redundant. Quote:
