Gen or Fake
This image was posted on another forum I'm on & I asked the guy if it was sold to him as a gen or a replica because to me there are a few things wrong with it but he swears it's gen with box & papers. He also says it has authenticity paperwork from watchfinder & that his 'watch guy' has seen it & had no cause for concern.
I'd like to know what you guys think...... |

The bezel around the crystal is sketchy. I would say not real

It does not look right to me. Bezel seems thin and the dials numbers look too painted.

I think it's fake. The metal piece in the center that holds the hands in place seems to have a pointy tip. on genuine Panerai these are flat.

Dial is suspicious. The lettering looks crooked. Hands look a tad shorter then I'd expect. Crystal looks to be scratched and has some glare. Doesn't look to be a sapphire crystal. I'd say the red flags are all over this watch. I'm calling it a fake

That dial looks like it was made in 3rd grade art class. Even if it was legit I would pass.
The seller may also have been sold a fake and is none the wiser. |
