Tudor prince date day help
Hi guys new to the forum, was hoping someone could help me identify. Took to a local Rolex dealer in my city and they confirmed authenticity. Looks like based on the serial number it's a 2001. Dealer did say that it looks like the original purchaser put an aftermarket dial on it but I'm not 100% sure. Also, one thing that's throwing me off is that the reference # is 75033 and I can't seem to find anything on that. Looks like it should be 74033 to me but all I can find on that is gold, is the 75033 perhaps the stainless version?
Any help would be appreciated, cant seem to find anything anywhere. Thank you, |

Was also able to see that it has an ETA caliber 2834-2 movement, thanks again.

This reference is not in my wheelhouse, but I truly hope that dial was not made by Tudor/Rolex, it looks awful.

Seems to be a linen dial, but not sure. Hoping an expert on here can help me.
Thanks! |

Looks like a diamond-set mosaic dial. They still do something very similar in the 762xx series, which is only sold in Hong Kong and Japan as far as I know. Look about halfway down this page. https://www.rolexforums.com/showpost...&postcount=323

Ok, the reference number is now M76214-0015 (since they changed from ETA to Sellita recently, I think) and you can google that for more examples, but here's a better pic than the above anyway for comparison with yours.

Thank you so much for that info. So does that mean it’s a factory dial then? Sorry for my ignorance, thanks in advance!

I would say most likely factory dial, yes, but can't be 100% sure. You should be able to find other examples if you look online for "Tudor date day mosaic diamonds" or something like that.

The OP's watch is most likely earlier than a 76214 because it says 'Oyster' on the dial. The 762xx series never had it as far as I know.

Do you guys know which model it would be then? Why does the reference number engraved on the lugs say 70533? Serial number starts with an H24xx which puts it at 2001. Thoughts?

Does it say 'Original Oyster Case By Rolex' on the back or is it just blank?

Its says TUDOR | PRINCE | GENEVA then has the Tudor Logo in between those words
Inside the back case says Montres Tudor S.a. GENEVA Switzerland Stainless steel 8050 then has a Z underneath of that I do want to note too that it has no rolex markings on it - the Crown has a tudor logo, which I heard was rare for this year |

I think the 76200 started mid to late 1990s so the case/crown would be right except for the ref 70533, which doesn't seem to show up even on Google. Dial is likely earlier and a replacement in this case.

Thank you! Anyone else know what 70533 is? I can’t see on google either what this means.
Thanks, |
