Service History?

Anyone know if RSC's keep a history of service on a watch? Do the service centers share a database such as Audi or Benz?

Any time a watch is serviced by an RSC the appropriate paperwork is recorded and issued along with a one year international warranty.

Whole thing looks like this;

I concur with Mike, that is what I got as well when I got my Rolex serviced. Looks like he also got the travel case which is a bonus!

Great info, Mike. I've never in my entire life ever had a Rolex serviced....simply 'cause I've never held on to one long enough for that!!

Yes, a service recipt is given, but are records kept and shared in an RSC database that all service centers (US domestic) have access too? Lets say one purchases a pre-owned GMT (like myself) and wants to know the service or repair history if any.

Thanks.

Ah!.. I misunderstood your question.
Short answer..yes. In my conversations with RSC Dallas once the watch is serviced a record is kept. The watch is marked internally--usually inside the case back.
Now if your asking can you call an RSC, give the serial number and request a service history I don't know, but my guess is Rolex is rather guarded with that information.
I would suspect they will want to see the watch.
They do check to see if the watch has been stolen when a watch enters the system for service. If so they will seize the watch while the whole thing is sorted out.

Mike - you got a lot more than me - my SD came back in bubble wrap accompanied by just the international guarantee - didn't even get a new cleaning cloth???
