What were the production years of the Datejust ivory pyramid Roman numeral dial?

I like this design best within the Datejust offerings even though it’s been discontinued for years. Also, would it be possible to switch to that dial at the RSC with a newer Datejust model, or would I have to have an older Datejust (within the timeframe of that dial’s production)?

My concern is my purchase is still years away; a Roman numeral watch is my endgame.

Rolex will only let you do a dial swap if that dial was available on the reference, so a 126233 would not work, you'd need a 116 or a 16233.

the earliest I've seen an ivory pyramid was 1993 and the latest 2008

Rolex have stated that they would not change any dial on any new watch in the warranty period, which now is 5 years unless there is damage to the dial.

Had that dial on my first datejust. I liked it so much I got it on a day date. Absolutely beautiful dial. Unfortunately, both of those watches are gone. Miss them.
