New great, classics best

Boy I do respect the new Porsches and Rolexes... but I only love the classics.

I had a 2006 911 Turbo. Will never forget the good rides. Bought my 2006 16618 same year…still enjoying it!

Getting a stainless daytona made me want a porsche. I got a gold one and wanted a ferrari.

May you lust less and enjoy more. Wishing you the best.

Wait, what's that weird, jagged metal thing with the Porsche logo on your keychain? Looks almost like what I use to unlock my house with...

That´s another beautiful photo, Juho, I don´t know how you do it! I´ve never had a Porsche, but I do have an old 5-digit 2-liner Submariner, my everyday watch. Love it, an absolute classic. I used to spend a lot of time travelling in Germany in the 1980s and 90s, and I loved thundering down the Autobahns in a BMW and then two Mercedes. But none of my cars were a match for a 911! A beautiful car indeed, and I always gladly pulled right and let one rocket past. Always made me smile!

The photo is done by using two different layers so it's bit of "cheating" in that sense.

1. Set the camera on a tripod
2. Shoot the light picture
3. Shut the lights of the lightbox and immediately shoot the dark picture (use timer or remote that the camera doesn't move at all)
4. Open photoshop, open the light picture and copy the raw photo of the dark picture on top of the light picture
5. Go to opacity settings and use distort/warp in case they pics don't match perfectly
6. Adjust contrast/darkness accordingly
7. Remember to hack the watch (if it has hacking). Otherwise the seconds hand lume doesn't match lol (been there, done that)

This method is very good for taking dark artsy pictures too. Not necessarily lume shots. Minimizes noise very well.

Here's another photo shot with the same method.

Reminds me (as my wife does frequently) that I still haven't found the set of 911 keys I mislaid a few years ago, same fob on them!
