Thoughts on this daytona Patrizzi

What do you think of this dial? Is still original
Is it considered a patrizzi dial?

Do you think the zenith Patrizzi with inverted 6 will become a vintage collectible?

Trying to predict what someone will collect in the future is impossible

Unless the donor watch came with that color of dial there’ll be a RSC mismatch and the buyer could become perturbed if he/she later finds out they bought a frankenwatch.

OP - do you only think of “invest” when you think Rolex? As Padi said, every post of yours uses that word or concept.

Don”t get me wrong
I love rolex. I love wearing rolex.
But i also think rolex is better then gold and therefore yes i consider it an investment. A security if i may. I do not intend to buy and sell and make a profit . I don”t treat it that way. I intend to invest in a beautiful rare rolex. Put it aside . Take care of it. Admire it .Wear it on very special occasions. It feels like i have something special that will appreciate in value in these uncertain times-Better then having money sitting in bank doing nothing.
I don”t think any watch brand can replicate what rolex has done on a commercial level .
What”s wrong with considering rolex as an investment ?

Does it annoy people ? It should make you proud.
Rolex = ferrari of watches

Yeah, cause overpriced, superfluous luxury goods are a great hedge against a recession

It sounds like you love money more than Rolex
I imagine your tune would change if you were staring down the barrel of a 20% depreciation hit

That’s a dial, not a Daytona, which is a whole watch.

OP
This mention or stating that a Daytona dial is a “Patrizzi” is all BS. Some people say Patrizzi was an employee of Rolex. Research shows the person who made this up was an auctioneer, a total charlatan. If you believe this BS, then you will also buy into the rarity of the “mistake” dial on the GMT.
