WOS group cool of period
Does anyone know anything about this cool of period after purchasing a watch at a WOS group boutique? I guess it’s BS?

Basically, it means that you're not getting another desirable watch for a little while. It's not like a 'distance selling act' cooling off period, more to ensure fairness across their customer base. Most ADs do something similar.

My ad Said they have a period where you will not receive to call. Wouldn’t say how long that period was. However I spoke to him almost three months after my last purchase and said “not long left”
Never seen anyone else speak of it on here. |

Instead of "building a relationship" and making multiple purchases to build loyalty, they're taking the entirely opposite approach. I purchased a PM watch from a WoS in early 2022 and, though they haven't told me about this "policy," I very much believe it to be true. I've connected with them half a dozen times since then and they're entirely non-committal on me ever seeing another watch.

This is true. There is a waiting period after getting a Rolex. My last one came in and sat in safe for 1 month and I was able to pick this up on the 1st of the month. After 3 month since my last one. This has been the case for my last 5 purchases.

I’m sure most ADs have something like that for most customers…. Perhaps the emphasis is on “most customers” since a super important one at a jewelry store might get additional benefits. But overall it makes sense — you get a Daytona or something even more difficult to obtain like a nautilus and then you’re not going to see another high demand piece for a bit, as they AD is going to want to give other good customers the opportunity.

My AD will only allocate 1 hot piece a year. If you spend big on other things obviously the rules change.
