Got a text this morning...

Was super excited thinking I was getting a new watch before year end!
Turns out my SA wanted to wish me Happy Holidays...nice, but kind of a bummer

Oh wow! Very nice of your SA to wish you a Happy Holidays. Definitely kind of a let down that it wasn't a watch offer though. However, I think that shows that he has you on the top of his mind of close clients. He will probably call you when something you want comes in! That text is a positive thing no matter how you look at it.

Ah no, it is none of those things. The crafty SA is just chumming the water, hoping OP will go buy some more diamond jewelry

Relationships are complex, so I'd say whether and SA or a friend, any well wishes with no strings attached are always a good thing. Happy Holidays.
