Watch pic with todays date......
while driving your BMW (or other car) at least 140 km/hr.
I didn't see this on another forum - heck why aren't we setting our own trends here? |

I should have read this EARLIER. Had the Bimmer up to 180 today on the way home from the cabin. No camera to capture the moment though

I can take one with my watch on it too as soon as the sun shines, but gotta use the cell to take the picture, vierdly i can take better shots with it than a cam, i think it handles the motion blur better and easy to use with 1 hand..
Yeah, i hear u say "is this how you/cellphone handle the blur better" but its not easy to hit 230 in the middle of the day and try to take a picture.. oh, and this one is also a bimmer.. for US guys, its 143ish mph.. Drive carefully, respectfully, sober, buckled, and always use indicators.. |

it was my old car, (the one before, the one before i have now actually) it was a e36, 3.28i convertible, my faw one, as for design, the engine was smooth but not enough grunt. Your is a z4 i think, hows it hangin in the corners, it seems a little on the short side with that huge Bangle ass..? (excuse my french, hate that Chris dude, totally messed up the style, i really liked the old z3mcoupe, his first one, nick named as a "bread van" tho) |

How do you like the Glycine Ed? It definetly isn't your typical GMT.

For the most part, I like it. It's got some aspects that I'm not crazy about. But I've been wearing it quite a bit. It seems to be taking the place of the Breitling in the rotation for now. I'm going to write a review of it in the next few days. Stay tuned.

I remember how crazy I was when I took this... (screen shot captured from a tank mounted camera, around 2001)
That's miles per hour BTW... around 350km/h

Drifter, what gearing ratio's do you have for doing 220+kph at only 2800 RPM?

Oh, i see..
As i was going to take the picture, i put it in neutral, so not to upset the balance of the car, as i aint gonna squise the throttle and did not want her to go in compression while im holding a phone with my strong hand. It is not safe to cruise in neutral with that speed, but the balance is better that way, unless u r in a curve or donwhill.. I hope that clears it up for you. Ps:Hey, Launch Mini, do u have a mini, and is it an auto, cause i have some complaints about the gearbox.. Sorry kinda stealing the topic, ill ask another time. |

Um... shouldn't the speedo needle be casting a shadow under it, to correspond with the shadow cast by the centre of the needle? Also, You're going that fast and the van in the pic is so crystal clear? Sorry... looks like a photochop to me.

Here is today , coming back from my presentation.
Was in a hurray to get back to post it LOL This is the only one out of 4 today that was any good. Not easy, trying to get wrist in correct position, drive 140, hold the camera & snap a shot. I used to have a MINI Cooper. Had it for 3 years, then traded for an Accord, that lasted about 10 months, now the BMW 325xi sedan.
