Hublot Integral VS Zenith Defy

Have wanted a sporty skeletonized watch lately.

Walked into a Hublot boutique the other day, and was really surprised by how much I liked the integral series.

The black ceramic bracelet was really cool in person, and these seem relatively reasonable for what you get used?

I am also considering the Zenith Defy El Primero 21 in black ceramic. Also with the ceramic bracelet but haven’t seen one in person yet.

On paper, I like the smaller size of the Hublot.

The zenith has the absolutely insane chrono though but the logo placement on this drives me nuts lol

Any thoughts?

The integral is really nice as a whole but a big disadvantage is that you can never swap it for another strap according to the AD. I had another skeleton/openworked hublot, the black magic Aerofusion, wore it for 1.5 years pretty often but sold it recently.

If you can increase your budget Cartier do some really nice skeleton watches such as Cartier de Santos, pasha

I really really like the black ceramic on both watches and skeletonization style. I thought about the skeletonized santos but really hated it in person unfortunately.

This. It is a superior watch in every respect.

Now, if the OP wants to up the budget on a black ceramic skeleton, then the GP Laureato (at $50,000 MSRP...) is another level.

I want to keep it under ~$20k.

Definitely want a skeleton + ceramic black.

Was thinking about the Octo from Bvlgari but I had the regular version and the rotor failed.

had the skeleton + full ceramic case and bracelet.
Defy 21 with 2 balance wheel, essentially 2 movements. 1 for the time, 1 for the crazy chronograph.

only problem, it's a quite thick but nevertheless a solid piece

that always bothered me, watches with essentially two movements with separate regulation. I know from a practical sense a Chrono regulation doesn't need to be as tight but the OCD in me would want them to run at the same rate

In that case, also check out the GP Free Bridge Infinity. Yes, it's steel DLC, but oh what a watch!

ETA: Since you seem to be on an LVMH watch kick... TAG has some surprisingly good looking ceramic chronograph skeletons. And they start significantly lower in price.
