Loving Sinn U50
Ok, I saw these babies today and think I’m in love. Talk me out of getting one of these instead of a Submariner?
Anyone else have a U50? |

This looks like an excellent watch. Has a similar look to the Pelagos. There’s also Tudor-like toolish appeal in the SW300 movement, which reminds me of older ETA Black Bays. I really like the idea of affordable future servicing from a local watchmaker.

I love the blue dial, they both look really nice.
I’m sorry I can’t talk you out of these babies. |

Why talk you out of one. Great looking watches and one that I would assume would get a lot of wrist time. No need to go either/or with a Rolex, different watch and different experience. Get the Sinn and a Rolex.

Get what you love. Been very happy to have a Sinn 757 UTC in my collection.

Very nice Cameron, may I ask where you tried them on? Are you in the GTA?

I've had a U50 since they released a few years ago, and actually got an SDR for my brother as well. Can't speak highly enough of this watch, it is a truly fabulous tool watch. It's a purely modern design that works well alongside (or instead of) the likes of Pelagos or FXD (or even the Sub). Highly recommend.
