Buy a tt yachtmaster you don’t want to save $3k in a year? Good plan!

If you really love the TT YM, then do it by all means. I'm a YM fan myself but already own the SS/PT one.

However, if you are hesitant, buy it and later decide it's not for you, you're in to lose 5 grand on a trade-in. Buying the Sub grey will be cheaper, premium is around $2k and you get it now. Well worth it, to me at least. We're far from the ridiculous premiums from early 2022.

At this point, I'd advice you to go grey.

TT YM aren’t nice. The reason? Rolex is cheap and doesn’t put a gold crown on them. It’s SS.

Never spotted that before! I was looking at the TT YM and asked my SA her opinion between that and the Rootbeer and she said definitely Rootbeer.

Okay, then why doesn't Rolex just increase availability by making more watches.

Answer?

Because they know at some point, the market will start to slide if anyone can walk into a boutique and get anything they want.
