Not entirely true. The case on the DJ TOG 116264 shares the same exterior dimensions as the 36mm DJ, however the dials and crystal are not interchangeable.
Both the crystal and dial of the DJ TOG 116264 are smaller than the standard 36mm DJ.
I am fairly certain the dial and crystal of the DJ TOG 116264 line up with the 34mm DATE 1152xx.

I have seen 116234 / 16234 with 116264 dials and vice versa, so am pretty sure the dials are the same size / can be used on those models

This would track with the TOG’s appearance… the dial certainly seems smaller than a 36mm DJ. Surely there are official specs out there somewhere?

Perhaps the watch you saw had an aftermarket dial.
I am certain of this because I had done a ton of research when I was in search for an AR/cyclops crystal for my TOG.

I am speaking specifically about 6 digit reference TOGs. Not sure of the 5 digit reference differences.
