The term that comes to my mind reading the OP's path and trajectory is "authenticity." Everybody's path has some twists and turns. The 14060M (now with 18 years of daily wear on my wrist) is as authentic as a watch gets - maybe the most authentic of all watches. I 'earned' mine after serving decades in the submarine service, both active duty and civil service. Congrats, OP, wear it in good health and keep charging forward.
