One other thing to consider is a lot of the 79090's have a folded link bracelet. Pros and cons to that. Some have be replaced with a rolex 93150 or Tudor equivalent. I like the vintage charm of folded links.

I would likely order a new Tudor 93150 from my AD. Folded link bracelets are OK but, personally, I'm not a huge fan.

The tudor will be a 78360 I think and they were ~$800 last time I checked. The Rolex 93150 will be around $1200 I think. Same bracelets justs different stamps. AD will be able to help sort you out.

I spoke with my AD contact last week when I first hatched the plan to possibly get a plexiglass Sub. Tudor has a 93150 as well. Same as the Rolex but with a Tudor branded clasp. Basically shield vs. crown. Thankfully it's cheaper than the Rolex--$725. So people are paying an extra $400-$500 for the crown logo.

Yes.

And it's a 78500.

Just to advise, a 79090 with a service dial will probably have been fitted with a T SWISS | MADE T or a post 2000 Luminova SWISS | MADE above the HR markers at bottom of dial rather than under the HR markers as original dial if of help

I must have mistakenly done the translation in my head since I have a 93150 on my Rolex 16610.

And I have confirmed the price (as of now) is $725.

Thanks. The one on eBay I was looking at has SWISS MADE above the hour markers so it's definitely a service dial. The watch was serviced recently by Tudor/Rolex so it's likely that is when the replacement occurred.

$725 sounds about what I was told last summer. Seems like a fair price to me.

The number didn't feel totally right when typing it. No worries, didn't take it poorly. The more we all know that is correct the better :)
