This is interesting to hear. I’ve been looking at Grand Seikos a lot, but each time I try it on, I start to think that maybe I wouldn’t reach for this over my current pieces.

I’ve learned that when I’m forcing myself to wear a piece in my collection because I haven’t worn it in awhile, it’s time to move on.
Initially I resisted thinking I’ll regret it, including the first Rolex which my now wife gave me 20 years ago, but I’ve found it somewhat liberating because it keeps my interest in the hobby alive.
I recently traded my Rhodium YM to my AD in exchange for an upcoming BLRO…
The only sentimental piece I’ve kept is a Swiss quartz dress watch that my Dad gave me when I graduated from high school.
