Trade green for blue Submariner
Hello all,
since I always get great advice from you guys, I wanted to ask your opinion again. I recently got a Submariner 162210 LV MK1. A good friend of mine got a blue Submariner 162213 from his dealer this year. He asked me if I would like to trade. 1 to 1. I really like the blue of the bicolor Sub. I really like the green 126610 especially as a MK1. I can not decide at all. What do you say? I would love to read your thoughts on this. Best regards Alex |

Personally, I'd keep the green sub. But if you gravitate more towards the 2 tone sub then its not a bad trade value wise.

126610 for a 126613?
Purely just your personally preference, 2nd had market values are similar and perhaps a little stronger for the LB so a trade is reasonable. |

Unless you love the TT, keep the SS. I wouldn’t consider this trade for even a second.

The only TT I'd trade for the 126610LV is the Rootbeer. I'd never trade it for the bluesy.

I’d keep the green. Never TT. I just don’t like it. Or anything gold really.

Tough one. I’m not sure what I would do on that either, I have the LV, but both are beautiful!

I like the blue better than the green. Green might be tougher to get however.

I can't tell you what you like best. All I can do is say what I would do, which would be to keep the 126610LV and add the TT later. If it had to either one or the other, I would go SS. The trade is either good or bad depending on which values you use as a reference, MSRP or secondary market.
I own the 11 series versions of these watches and the compliment each other beautifully. |

I'd do the trade, no hesitation.
I tried on the LV at a preowned dealer and the TT blue Sub at the AD. The LV is kind of meh to me. The TT blue Sub, on the other hand, is such a stunning watch. It's on another level, to me at least. |

Keep the green! Obviously it’s more well loved, which is why the other guy wants it….

I like blue more that green. If the LV had a blue bezel with a black dial, like the WG version but SS, I think I would be the most popular Rolex. Had the LV and bluesy. If I had to pick I would say keep the LV.

If you dig on the TT, the Bluesy is boss. But it is usually a love/hate situation. Personally, I would do it.

Cool! So future value wise I’d keep the LV, but if you really like the TT blue sub and you’ll wear it so future value isn’t as much of a concern I’d do it. Assuming you got yours at retail you’re saving $1,000s off RRP doing the switch.

Keep the 12LV sub and save for the TT Sub. You can get on the list with your AD on the TT sub and probably has a shorter waitlist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

CHNR is the only TT watch that I like. I’m also a huge fan of green in general, so I’d say stay as you are.

I had 126610LV for a week and I sold it. Now I have a Bluesy and I LOVE IT!
Every time I put in on I got "wow feeling". I love it more and more... Just my 2 cents... |
