Well, I caved...

The GMT Pepsi has always been my favorite watch. I've owned a few different iterations. I have been "on the list" for a ceramic Pepsi for 5 years. I've always been a vintage collector but desperately wanted a ceramic. Watching them go to $25-30k last year was painful. I knew I'd never get one at retail because I refuse to "play the game" with watches and other crap I dont want. I had to offload a few watches that didn't see much wrist time but I now have added a younger brother to my 16750. While the 126710 definitely feels more like jewelry than a 16750, I am obsessed with it. It is an absolutely gorgeous watch, feels wonderful on the wrist and just hits all the right places. I think it is the star of the current Rolex line-up but I'm a GMT fan boy. I actually love the colors. While certainly not as vibrant as the aluminum inserts (and especially not as vibrant as my insert), I actually think it suits the watch well as it already is a bit more flashy than a 4 or 5 digit GMT with the larger lugs and PCLs.

Beau watch, less a tool but still, a great presence on the wrist. Hope you enjoy it.

Congratulations! I couldn’t agree more. The modern BLRO is a perfect evolution of the classic Pepsi of old. Great combo you have there. Enjoy

I also recently caved on this one. Glad I did, as I think it's absolutely stunning. I had to trade in my 16710 to finance the purchase. It was hard to part with the classic model, but I figure I can pick one up again in the future.
