That would make sense. I guess we will see how many they have in stock and how long they last online!

Unknown. My guess is it's large. Sign of the times maybe?

My next best guess is it is about to be discontinued/replaced.

Pure speculation.

Congrats, it’s a really nice version of the Black Bay.

I’m curious about your number (1733). I believe that two years ago Harrod’s was selling models in the 5xxx range, and have since gone higher than 10,000 (IIRC). I wonder if there are others earlier in the serial range that they’ll be releasing?

Any of the US customers get theirs yet?

I am thinking about placing an order.

And if there are people who purchased in the US, can you clarify the duties that were required? The total cost would be helpful.

Is the number mentioned anywhere on the papers or watch? I would be interested to see the contents of the watch.

Not bad. Omega made around 15000+ FOIS speedies over many more years. Omega also used to make 10007 of their bond watches and you don't see them around that often. Good value here at retail IMHO and a gorgeous watch too!

The number is stamped on the case back. It's the production number of the watch, not the serial number. It's not mentioned anywhere in the paperwork.

The serial number is stamped on the back of the top right lug and is on the Tudor warranty card along with the model number (79230G) and the date of purchase, which is hand written in dd/mm/yy format.

Hopefully you don’t get charged duties. The OP above mentioned duties are already paid for by Harrods. I am tempted to purchase one. I’ll be interested to hear how it goes.

Thank you.

Can't go as far as to say I dislike the bracelet but I don't find it particularly visually appealing. I've bought a rubber strap that goes flush against the case.

It should have been easy to fit but the Tudor spring bars were rather belligerent about locating accurately. What should have taken 10 minutes took an hour, but no harm done and all located nicely in the end.

A strap (or bracelet) with Tudor compatible QD T bars would be very welcome.

Mine held up in customs in NJ also. Been sitting there for a couple of days now. I’m getting ticked it’s not moving along any faster. Called FedEx and they said this is standard.

I also contacted Tudor, because FedEx said they can't do anything. The shipper has designated to importer so the shipper has to make the inquiry.

Same. Held a couple days and then back in transit this morning. Just some patience needed, which I understand is easier said than done!

Interested to know if you guys had to pay any import duties; and if so, how much? Did you have to pay a service charge to the courier for clearing too?

An OP mentioned that Harrods includes all duties in the price.

Mine just arrived this morning, was going through same custom/import delays as the rest of you but I didn’t receive any additional charges (yet). I’m taking Harrods at their word that they cover it on their end, so far so good.

The watch itself looks beautiful but a bit disappointed in the way it was shipped as the watch was not on the pillow, just floating in the box. As a result there are a couple of minor scuffs on the case back where it rubbed against the clasp. Marks that always end up there over time but I would have preferred to create them myself.

What’s really throwing me off though is the lume is two different colors, the hands and bezel pip are green and the hour markers are blue. Is that typical for this model? It’s a cool touch if so, just don’t remember reading about it in the past.

Giving some more thought to my comments above, it appears that the watch fell off the pillow during shipping, as everything was at an angle once I opened the box. Meaning the pillow was still in the groove but perpendicular to the box itself and the warranty card and instructions were perpendicular as well. My guess is the box was upside down several times during shipping and the pillow just become loose, causing the watch to fall off.

A shame they didn’t pack it better but not a huge deal at the end of the day and, given the complicated shipping logistics, not worth pursuing an exchange.

My hands and hour markers are green, the pip is blue.

I had the misfortune of being up for most of last night due to a power cut. Once my eyes are dark adapted, the lumes are powerful enough to throw a glow and stay legible all night. They just don't look all that bright in daylight.

All green on mine. All blue on the Sub.

Interesting reading up on this model that 2000 were going to be produced. At least 12750 now.

Anyone know if T Fit clasp can be retrofitted to this bracelet?

Interesting variations on the lume. Is the last 5 posts, 3 variations. Watch that be a collector preference at some point.
