Picked mine up Friday. It’s stunning. Will collect my thoughts on it once I’m over honeymoon but first reactions is this could be a one and done (for normal people).

I enjoyed this chrono for a while. Extremely good value for money really.

Thanks for sharing. Congrats on the pickup. I really like this piece as a Rolex alternative. Curious to see how you feel about it post-honeymoon.

Every picture I see just confirms how amazing this watch is. I've seen most content of the Ingy and every new picture adds to that level of wow. Ive still yet to see one in person. My allocation is told to be near April of 2024. Im happy some production is rolling out. I think it will be a very slow production though.

When did you register your interest? April is still a bit of a wait.

Congrats, it’s worth the wait I haven’t taken mine off since I got it. A great daily watch.

Just got the call from my LV boutique. First aqua has arrived and is going out via FedEx 10/11.

I'll report back with pics on arrival.

Where is the IWC Genta Ingenieur?

It's a little more green in real life and a little metallic so it's hard to get the color to come through. Dial and hands are gorgeous. Can't even see the glass at most angles. Bracelet is super nice. I needed one extra link to be a tad looser for 7.25" wrist.

Louped the dial, hands, and applied indices and found no scratches or specs of dust. That was a surprise to me.

Brush strokes on the bracelet and case are finely and evenly done and perfectly straight.

Crown is sturdy and locks down tightly. Winding is a light zipper sound vs a clicky sound. Completely smooth.

The Ti one looks sweet, same with the aqua. Like everyone pricing is relatively high, especially compares to their own catalog mark xx. Are these still boutique only or are they trickling to dealers? Every IWC boutique only i've seen eventually trickles out

I was offered the black dial from IWC but turned it down waiting for the Aqua. The more I look at these watches, the more I like the black dial and think I made a mistake.

The black dial is timeless, I’m afraid the Aqua may become dated. I just really wanted the polished center links.

That's an interesting take. I'd buy the metallic silver white as a monochrome option. In a diverse enough collection timeless is not on my radar. There's a lot of black watches out there. Metallic aqua is really unique and shimmery in real life.

Having seen all the versions I felt that the black dial was the most disappointing out of the bunch. The light play on the black dial was the worst out of all of them. I have to admit that I thought that the white dial was really nice in person and I was tempted to buy it when I was offered it but the Aqua came in a few weeks later and I couldn’t be more happy. If I had to go for a more “timeless” version I would consider the white over the black.

Unfortunately I have to rely on admiring here. My boutique said q1 likely as company owned boutiques will get first. The ones owned by an actual AD slight delay.

Looks like a great fit. This watch wears a lot like a Daytona in my opinion which is impressive for an integrated bracelet.

Thank you. I'm very happy with it. IMO IWC really nailed the design of this watch.

Anybody have an extra link to sell / rent ?

I'm waiting on 2 for my Aqua from boutique part number: MXE0PC0C

I'm looking to buy at least one ($200?) until mine arrives then I would send you the brand new sealed one / reverse the transaction upon arrival so your kit would be complete again.

Let me know.

Those aqua pics are stunning.

I am trying to get a white dial but don’t have a boutique in my market. Am I SOL?

Not sure how “boutique exclusives” work in terms of purchase process from a brand like IWC

The aqua looks amazing!
I actually tried one on this past weekend. They only had the black available (and it was reserved). They said that for the aqua it would be at least a 6 month wait, ~3 months for white, and a week or so for black. If I did get one, I would definitely for got the aqua.

But I was definitely impressed in the overall quality, and just how comfortable it was. It really didn't "feel" any different on my wrist vs my datejust, which is 36mm. It was definitely one of the more comfortable watches I've tried on.

Boom! Just got the call. Mine is clearing customs right now and I should have it Friday or Monday on the long side. No doubt, pics to follow.
