Ever let one go that you wish you hadn't?

One of my first spring drives was the SBGA375G. It was a beautiful watch in the classic 44GS case design with a stunning GS Blue dial that would shift from blue to black depending on the light.

I can remember being mesmerized each and every time I looked at it in awe in the perfection built into this model.

I wore this watch all the time and had given up a new DJ 36 to get it. In comparison to my previous watch after spending time with both I was super impressed by the GS. But eventually I ended up trading it back in for something else. Honestly I can remember what.

What I do know is that I miss that watch terribly. The other day I was chatting with my SA about this and she mentioned that there still in production. I didn't know nor have I even researched it.
I told her to order me one. So I'm waiting patiently on the arrival.

Has anyone else ever required a piece the let slip from a collection? I am really into the Evolution 9 series. I feel I can make room for a heritage in my collection for this one.

Seems like the right move to get it back.

I have zero regrets for pieces I've let go save for probably one exception and that's a Tudor. With that said, I'd never part with a GS. Yes, now that I've experienced them, I like them that much!
Good call, OP

Sold my Omega Seamaster James Bond for around $1,600 in 2018. I’m finally out of the young family/baby phase and want a nice new watch. The prices have increased a bit since then!

No regrets here, but I have to say that SBGA375 is my favorite GS, along with the EVO9 Mistflake GMT. I’m glad you’re getting it back.

I had a vintage DJ that I think about sometimes. Then again, not having it moved me towards what I have now. So, yes and no.

I have more regrets adding certain pieces than letting certain pieces go.

Not one I had, but one I didn't take action on.

Opportunity to purchase a SLGA019 at about 35% off retail. Haven't seen another pop up with a similar discount since.

I have owned SBGA031. Let it go and sorry about that.

Now thinking of SLGA023.

I regret letting go of my SBGA071 limited edition diver. It was a spring drive with the old double logo dial.

Did exactly the same for the same reasons. Probably only kicking myself now though as I sold too early and I could have switched into something more interesting if I had waited! :)
