2021 YM 42 White gold for $26,750? Good deal?

Found a local dealer selling this in great condition as a full set. Figured I’d ask for some opinions on here since the market is trending down and wasn’t sure if I should wait it out more? These PM pieces are a bit more volatile it seems. Considering this is a $30-31k watch for retail…where do you all think this model will be over the next year?

I'd buy it if your price is right. That's one of the best fitting watches Rolex makes for a 7.25 or so wrist. It's like the big bad ass submariner on rubber.

Great watch and a fair price. Yes, the market moves. No, the market can only be predicted and for everyone that will tell you the sky is falling someone else will tell you ownership is a long term proposition and nothing gets cheaper with time. Buy the watch, enjoy and don't worry about prices. If it is just about the money then look elsewhere.

The price seems reasonable for the current time. However, the used watch market prices continue to decline, albeit less aggressively than the 8 months ago.

Good price. PM pieces continue trending down. We'll see how far they go.

Awesome watch. I think that is a good price currently.

If you're concerned about the money, you couldn't have picked a worse model. While PM in general has trended down this year, that one has dropped like a stone.

On the plus side, it's by far the most comfortable daily wearer of the OF group. So, if you really like it, yes that's a good price, go on and grab it. But I wouldn't expect any kind of return on it.

As to your last question, nobody knows. But I do know this. Worrying about the price going up or down on something you buy for fun sure does take the fun out of it.

My favorite watch that I own!

My .02 is if you’re worried about a a few grand don’t get a $26k + timepiece. I’ve never worried about getting the cheapest deal, only fair deal.

Both sides need to benefit for commerce to work. Get the watch and enjoy it!

I think it’s more than a few grand. I remember before 2020 the YG Blue Sub was like 25/26k and they shot up to ridiculous prices. Now they aren’t moving at all(multiple pages up bumps by greys ) . They’ll have to come down to low 30s high 20s at some point.

I wouldn’t buy PM right now unless it was one I couldn’t live another day without . Just my opinion. PM isn’t going anywhere but down

YM rose gold on OF was $23k or so before the bubble when nobody cared about watch investing. This watch is probably within a few $k of bottom... assuming there's a bottom.
