WATCH OUT for Omar Khan

Hello all,

I have a watch listed in the for-sale page. I was contacted by a guy using the name Omar Khan, email used was: [email protected]

He wanted to connect on WhatsApp. I wanted to vet him first, so I did not.

He said he was from Dubai and the watch would be a wedding gift. He wanted to pay the original price for the Deep Sea, even though I have reduced the price by 1,500.00.

I told him I only ship within the US, he responded by saying he has a residence in NY, not a problem.

I asked him to contact me in the forum. He said he's not a member, just a lurker, but has made a few purchases from members.

I then asked him to send me the handles of those he purchased from in the forum so I could get a reference for him. Thats when all contact ended...

It's been a few days since last contact.

In my opinion, he's shady and DO NOT deal with him. However, I will update if he pops up again, sometimes ppl do get busy, I'm not holding my breath though. Cheers

Could have just had it somewhere else. He’s not successfully ripped you off or anything so I don’t get the point of this thread…

Exactly that, so nobody gets ripped off. I'm looking out for this community, if you can't see that, then I have nothing else. Wow...

He said the same to me in regards to a Polar I have for sale, he wanted it shipped to Dubai and was going to pay $200 more, but would only pay in crypto. Not for me so I passed.
