It's going to be stamped or laser etched.

Too busy for my taste. Reminds me of hypnotism or a funhouse.

The order page will be through CW's website (via hidden link).
So when the time comes to confirm and pay, it's going through CW.

I just made the order for another LE, and it was exactly the same.

I feel like the final product is going to vary greatly if it’s laser etched vs stamped. Maybe I’m not aware of the laser etching tech but what I’m familiar with is extremely shallow.

I think they're starting to go a little overboard with a lot of limited editions. If they degrade the meaning of "limited", then it will no longer create a feeling of specialness, but that they need so desparatly the money, that they will do anything to make more.

All the limited editions (except the initial blue and green) have been bespoke editions, made through their bespoke program:

https://www.christopherward.com/on/d...espoke-watches

I think it's cool that they allow people to make bespoke projects. It's very much on par with the bespoke projects lots of the small independants do, and it means more creativity and more possibilities.

I don't buy into the "watering down" of limited editions. If someone buys a watch, it shouldn't be because of FOMO, feeling "special" or value retention, which seems to be the main reasons why people don't want to see more limited editions.

Perhaps it would help to view these projects not as limited editions, but rather bespoke editions, that by their nature get released in a fixed number.

Am I the only one that thinks that this edition looks over the top?

I agree. It does seem a bit too "busy" at least.

I tend to love guilloche, but this one doesn't quite work for me.
