Icon20 16800 listing thoughts

I’ve been on the hunt for a birth year (1984) 16800 in decent condition with matte dial, some aging to the dial, and preferably blueish/grey patina to the bezel. I don’t care so much about box and papers and OK for some polishing as it’s going to be a daily driver for me and not some investment piece.

What are y’all’s thoughts on this eBay listing:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/27601072903...mis&media=COPY

I put an offer on it but can return if things looks off. Curious if this would be a good buy or any red flags stand out (or if you think over polished).

Hey sorry, I’m not selling, but looking for feedback on something that I am purchasing. Was posting this to the vintage section.

This is the feedback Board.

It is not as fast as other boards so there may be more time for folks to look and give their insight.

Items is no longer available and I never would’ve bought it in the first place. OP: for a special birth year watch vintage acquisition, please find a trusted vintage seller here

Thanks for looking.. I’ve been monitoring the classifieds here for a bit and haven’t seen the right match, but completely get your point. I also figured with the eBay authenticity program, gives some additional confidence if I did have to go that route.

You never have to go that route, and the authenticity guarantee for a real vantage piece is foolishness

The right-side lugs are thin, especially the top one.

Ok got it. I’m still learning the ropes around here. Thanks for the explanation.

Would that put you off this one even if you could get the price down? I’m not overly concerned about that if everything else checks out in your view.

I dunno, in some pics (like the first one) the springbars are exposed, in others they're not. I'd probably just pass.
