Oysterflex bracelet on Daytona 116519
Hi all,
I was wondering if someone can help me, i am trying to fit an Oysterflex bracelet on my Rolex Daytona 116519 instead of the leather bracelet. I tried many AD and they said they can’t do it because it doesn’t fit the watch, the case measurements are different. Is it actually different or they just don’t want to it because of the system won’t allow them. If i get the Oysterflex bracelet from the second market is it going to fit on my Daytona?? Many thanks |

Yes, it should fit. But you'll need to get some end links such as mine (Smarty End Links)

Thank uou for your reply.
Mine already has the links because it’s white gold and the original strap was leather not a steel bracelet. |

I don’t see any reason why it won’t. PM Daytonas that come on Oysterflex have endlinks just like your’s and have the same 20mm lugs. The hard part is going to be finding a friendly dealer who will sell it to you. And you need to get the correctly sized halves as you have to get the fit as close as possible.

His site shows hundreds of material options and it would be made the exact length of your OF halves. |

Apparently if you want to install the Oysterflex you need to change the clasp also, because the original clasp on the leather is smaller than the Oysterflex clasp.
That’s what i have been told |

You'll need a new clasp. If you can get one, its going to cost you circa £3,000 for WG oem. If you want a rubber strap (as per your picture) Rubber B sell high quality straps that will fit your watch and clasp

Its not the size, It has different attachment points that don't work with the Oysterflex strap.

Hi you appear to be located in London,I would wander around to Rolex StJames service centre , they will be able to answer all your questions,if it can be done I’m sure they will help, but it will cost.
I’m sure there is some truth in you will require a new clasp but you can sell your older clasp, and recoup lots of the money you spend buying a new larger or longer clasp. They will also sell you the oysterflex bracelet parts |

I fitted a leather to my 116519. It’s the same. What year is yours?

Updates
My AD sold me an OF strap and installed it on my Daytona and it fitted the old clasp, I added two rubber bands to fill the gap
