They had one in stock at my local IWC dealer. Pulled trigger.

Congrats, beautiful piece. An AD or boutique? Thought this one was exclusive to boutiques for a while.

Congratulations on your new watch. I would love to add the aqua dial sometime in the future.

I overexposed the picture to show the pattern on the dial. Normally hard to see.

Incoming IWC

Congrats! I have been wearing mine 2-3 days a week for a couple months now.

I ended up taking a sheet of 3M abrasive and a few swipes to the interior side of the butterfly release. It is machined very sharp. Now it is like butter.

I find that the tabs of the butterfly clasp stick out a little and stick into my wrist. Slightly uncomfortable, but I can deal with it. I understand a new clasp with microadjustments is in the works. My weight fluctuates, looking forward to that.

Same here. Go ahead and call IWC and let them put you down for a call back when they arrive in April.

According to the sales rep, someone ordered the one they had in stock, but when it came in , he passed on buying it. Whatever, they had one in stock. It’s not a “Rolex” situation where they are impossible to obtain, they are just rolling out slowly.

They come in four colors, black, white, aqua and a gray in titanium. They were designed by the late Gerald Genta, who also designed the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and the Patek Phillipe Nautilus. The resemblance to those watches is obvious.

Gotcha

What you stated about GG goes without saying, especially the last statement

Its kind of is shocking they rolled this out with all the bracelet drama. I just received mine which I LOVE but, I have a 6.6 inch wrist. I needed only one link out. LOL, no one over 7.0 can wear this. Mind blowing. It’s a bit loose on me but 2 links was tight. Most net pictures I see of this the bracelet looks so tight on people. In heat that would be super annoying. I had to pick loose. Bracelet fit not withstanding, I think it’s worth its price. Super nice watch.

FWIW, I have one on my wrist as I type this. Haven't noticed any sharpness issues with the clasp. One of the most comfortable bracelets I've worn on a watch, very Rolex-like.

I have 6.5 inch wrists and took 2 links out and it's slightly tight, so makes sense. I too was surprised by how short the bracelet is. Big wristed folks are definitely going to have to order extra links.
