Xmas Cooking / Food Photos
Merry Xmas fellow forum members.
I know we have quite a few cooking/food related threads (thinking steak and pizza off hand) however now I’m starting to prepare our family Christmas Eve feast, I thought it might be nice to have a dedicated thread for others to contribute to given how food, at least for me, is an integral part of the celebrations. Beef Rib joint, blue cheese salad and a Spanish tomatoe side, more photos later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Nice one, I see your Instant Pot there, very versatile kitchen tool.
I have one but it’s Silvercrest, not Instant Pot but it gets the job done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That photo has me thinking you might be also making risooto with pancetta in the Instant Pot!

Haha, the Instant Pot is the wife’s and is one of our rare kitchen items I’ve never used. Maybe it’s time I experimented with it!
I’m aiming for my versions of the below so nothing too fancy and the steak will rightfully be the centrepiece. Fresh Blue cheese dressing made for the wedge salad and a parsley/almond pesto done for the tomato salad. What is everyone else eating? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’m cooking Christmas lunch for 13 tomorrow. Tonight we’ve just had a home cooked gammon, some really great cheeses, chutneys, bread and crackers, along with some good wine.
Now onto some spiced rum’s and g&t’s. My two eldest sons of 24 and 22 are back from London and Bristol for a few days and are going to show us a game called Mexican Train, which my 7 year old daughter plays with them. Happy Christmas everyone |
