Great watch. Sub feels kind of small and the Seadweller might be just right. Enjoy!

Some products are coming through. In Canada, with that hefty price increase, I hear it is more challenging for the AD to sell products. At one point, whoever was on the top of the list would get the call and it was typically sold on the first phone call. Now with things levelling out and with the price increase, the AD has to make more calls down the list. Poor them, so much more work.

Hopefully this would become the normal situation. In the past it used to be a simple process of either buying it there and then brand new at the Boutique or a independent , or asking them to order it in. Time to obtain was a very reasonable 1-2 months for most models.

I have seen greys selling the SD43 at or below retail..I don't think flippers or the investment types are bothering with them now,no $ to be made.

Probably why it only took a week to get it.

I suggest the "madness" is just the result of very high demand for Rolex watches. I've never understood why some folks bemoan this. I'm pleased that so many people are fans of these watches. If one is willing to pay market price reflecting this scarcity, there are many watches available.

Yes it’s getting easy. I bought a 136660 DBLUE as a walk in a week ago.

Wow, Congrats , I think all Rolex boutiques are owned by WoS?
Hopefully this is a sign of the things to come.

Bravo!

Cheers,

Was that the newer version with “sea dweller” text removed from the dial?

Cheers,
No. Geary’s has Boutiques in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, Deutsch has one in Houston, Bachendorf’s in Dallas, Bucherer in NYC, the list goes on. At least in the US they are all owned by existing ADs.

I tried on an Explorer 1 last week at my AD. Of course, the SA played the ‘we have a waiting list’ game, but was very very keen for me to put my name down for one. Got the feeling that one would magically appear with a short wait.

Availability definitely improving
