Yup

They were hoping since you expressed interest in a SS Sub that they could sell you the TT instead

My AD has most TT models available expect GMTs, Daytonas. It is only a matter of time until SS Submariners are available.

The purpose of this thread is to add another data point to supply / demand data. I'm sure there is someone who wants a Blusey and isn't getting the call. The poster above me also pointed out this piece is not selling below MSRP on the grey market, so it's not like I was offered a full gold sub.
In a low light, the bluesy is a SS Submariner date

You could of gotten it and sell it in the grey market. Maybe a slight profit.

I did that before and made a profit every time. As long as it is not a DJ

Grey market is more money. That’s another factor

But all in all, if you not in a pinch for cash, by all means, grey is the way.

That is something I considered and perhaps that would of let to another SS piece in the future, but I felt like someone who really wants the watch will get called next and get the watch they wanted.
