Poor marketing of the Polaris line in general, recent price increase and boutique-only availability certainly don't help. For what it's worth, boutique rep told me both the green and blue sell like hot cakes. Which I took with a grain of salt.

A *tablespoon* of salt. Anecdotally, I've never seen a Polaris of any ilk "in the wild." I've seen MAYBE five Reversos.

I want to love JLC. I know they make excellent movements. Some of their watches are beautiful. IMO, they're currently kind of neither here nor there. By that I mean, it seems they put most of their eggs in the Reverso basket. Not many know about the Polaris line, or even the Master line. They don't make anything that I'd really want to wear (maybe the 39mm Master Moon Phase).

The masters is great. Just a bit too dainty for me. Love the duometre as well.

Rocking this today

Agree 100%.

They should release to all AD’s now that it’s been a year.

And the bracelet is a winner too. But it’s a pita to get

Beautiful pieces.

If I may hijack this thread: I'm looking for a discontinued Grande Taille with a gold dial and butterfly clasp - I understand that this was the last made Grande Taille but I cannot find the reference. I think it was discontinued in 2016.

Thank you and apologies for "off topic" ie no pictures.

Those are beautiful and your model looks the most stunning, in my opinion. That's the exact same model I would like to own.

My grandfather received a brass one as a retirement gift from Standard Oil back in the 70s and I used to sit and watch it as a kid. I loved watching the mechanism working behind the glass.

Thank you!

The old brass ones are pretty cheap on eBay, unfortunately the vintage Atmos clocks do not seem to retain their values well.

I love mine, I love how it can create it's own energy and never requires winding.
