FSOT: Gronefeld Principia Limited Edition 1 of 10 in "Gronebleu" for Sydel&Sydel

For your consideration is a gorgeous and rare Gronefeld 1941 Principia. This iconic and sublime case is complimented in a very limited run format. This special 10 piece edition, made for Sydel and Sydel of Chicago features a special two tone blue dial with special characters and numbered to 10.

This watch was inspired by an 8 second Remontoire that had similar blues. The outer track retains a blue sunburst finish and the center is a slightly darker blue matte. The combination of color and texture in all lights is reminiscent of the play on a FP Journe Chronometre Bleu. The watch normally looks bright vibrant blue (pics 1/2/3) all the way to a midnight blue in low light (4/5). It is really a thoughtful and impeccable joy to wear.

This piece is numbered 1 of 10. Comes complete as a mint condition full set. It is my understanding Sydel & Sydel will occasionally be making limited runs of straps for this watch and the next owner may get that benefit also as an extra perk. This watch will come on its original Gronefeld blue strap.
