Bnew Bluesy vs BN omega snoopy 50th

Hey everyone, looking for your opinions and input on my dilema?

What would you choose, bluesy or snoopy? Both 16000? Thank you

I would definitely take the Snoopy because I’m not much of a Bluesy fan. I’m surprised to see that others here would take the Snoopy too!

The WR on that Omega has always been an issue for me. 50m is not enough, even for easy vacation swimming for me and that kills it which is a shame because it looks like a fun watch and I am a NASA nerd.

Honest question, why would you not trust a 50m watch for light swimming?

Because my light swimming leads to water parks and even snorkeling. It’s kinda a vacation limited standard I use for a watch. A Rolex WR100m is my ideal as I can even dive with it, which I do.

I have both, and love both. However, I'd pick Snoopy everyday over my Bluesy for the following reasons:

1) Much more difficult to obtain. It's the only watch I have purchased where I had to go grey in order to obtain one. You can get a Bluesy at retail with only a short waiting period.
2) So much history behind the Snoopy that the Bluesy just doesn't have.
3) It's been rumored the Snoopy will be discontinued this year. If true, the price will only go up.
4) The Snoopy puts a bigger smile on my face whenever I put in on my wrist vs. the Bluesy.

I tend to like beautiful shiny things and the bluesy has been very rewarding for me that way. Putting it on a blue rubber Everest can really make the gold bits pop especially on the 11 series with the gold text. The bezel action is amazing, the shade of blue on the dial is ideal - not too dark or light. Just a perfect hue of royal blue. I love it. The only thing I would prefer over mine is the solid gold version! I'm not willing to trade up to it though.

There are so many speedmaster options and for me, I don't find the blue/white to be the most beautiful colorway. I also don't like how on-the-nose he snoopy gimmick is. I'd choose one of the "side of the moon" speedmasters as I find these to be the most beautiful to my eyes. Or if within reach the moonshine speedmaster is very beautiful.

Grab the Snoopy now and the Bluesy at a later time if you can’t stop thinking about it. There will always be a Bluesy available.

Dude how did you manage to keep using the orignal strap? It's so uncomfortable!

Chrono vs diver … what else do you have in your collection?

These watches really aren’t comparable IMO, (except maybe for the price)

Ok, fair enough but diving is not light swimming, it's the opposite. Everything else you mentioned is fine with a 50m watch but to each their own.
