Woodstock

This weekend celebrates one of the greatest concert festivals and get togethers of people of all walks of life on a farm in upstate New York. What were you doing 40 years ago?

Edit: Sorry, Leo. I had to correct the spelling of the title. It was driving me crazy.

I'm not telling, other than to say there was a letter missing between the o and the s. But my lips are sealed.

Truth be told, it involved green rolling paper and lots of sweets. Don't look at me like that - like you are so innocent.

It's the nuns fault. OCD spelling, grammar, and punctuation complex. (at least, that's my story...)

No, the party was in my room with my delinquent high school friends.

BTW, Yasgur's farm, the site of Woodstock was owned by by friend's uncle. He was hanging with me and didn't make it to Woodstock either, but I saw the movie several times as well as attended concerts of many musical acts who played there, e.g. Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix.

Thanks for your question, peace and love you groovy girl.

Probably just as fun.

Extremely funny that your friend didn't go either! Jimi played at my college auditorium (Clark U.)around that same time, but unfortunately I was in diapers...

Ack! I meant that I was disappointed!

The year I graduated, we were treated to 'Til Tuesday. Respectable, no doubt - but not Jimi Hendrix.

40 years ago I was just 22.

Yes, I remember the year 1969......the year of bell bottoms, mini-skirts, long collars and tight shirts.......and who can forget Woodstock?
