Icon6 New 38mm 62GS - SBGH341 & SBGH343

A new smaller size for Grand Seiko non-dress models: two new 38mm 62GS Hi-Beat watches. High-intensity titanium. 12.9 mm thick. €7,000. SBGH341 (pink) & SBGH343 (green).

In my opinion, these are beautiful new watches in a great GS case (I prefer the 62GS to the 44GS). While I'm not much one for "size police", if this model were 1-1.5 mm thinner, it would be even better.

Pink one looks great. And in titanium, you won’t feel or notice the thickness.

I agree, they're beautiful, and I personally like to see them offering a couple smaller sports watches. I hear you on the thickness though, I didn't enjoy the thickness of my SBGH277 at 13.3mm, and now I'm spoiled by my vintage 45KS at 9mm.

They really need to reduce thickness + get rid of dates. Watch brands in general have a weird obsession with dates lol

Regarding the thickness...

I own the SBGA415, a 62GS case with a listed thickness of 12.7 mm on GS's website. This style of watch has no bezel and I would estimate the crystal adds approximately 2 mm of thickness above the entire rest of the watch case. The watch wears much more similarly to an 11 mm thick watch than nearly a 13 mm thick watch and I would imagine these two new models will as well.

Looks great - now put springdrive in it (if possible) with the power reserve on the back and I'm a buyer

How many times can GS reuse the Kirazuri dial??? Awfully boring approach.
