116610ln or 116710ln?

Having a difficult time deciding between the two. I like the versatility of the GMT, can add a super jubilee to dress it up etc. The sub is classic though. Let’s assume I have no other watches

Going for the GMT on this one. The black and green is just a cool unique classy combo

GMT for function but Sub for comfort. I love the glidelock so much that I got a YG one for my YG GMT.

All depends on what you really want, I love the GMT function, but for comfort then Sub.

Both top notch. I would pick the Sub eventually because the lunette is in my eyes less busy.

They are both very similar so if you can try both and see if you prefer one over the other. I had the bracelet brushed on my LN and it is now (IMO) an even better and more versatile watch.

Picture below, obviously my sub is a 124060 so is slightly less similar.

The Sub for me of those two, I'm not keen on the green bits on that GMT. (should have been red hand/white text!)

I moved from LN Subs to GMTs with color in the bezel, BLNR/VTNR.
But LN vs LN I would go Sub.

The GMT wears more comfortably on my wrist due to the shape of the caseback.

Both are very comfortable IMO. If you need one complication over the other…the choice would seem fairly simple. If neither complication is absolutely necessary…go with the one you’ll like to look at more on your wrist.
Complications aside, I’d personally go GMT. It’s different from what I see most of the time (submariner) when I see a Rolex on someone’s wrist.

The GMT has more going on and a slight dash of color. This is either a plus or not so much it just depends. I have owned the GMT before and sold it after a while. Don't know why but I will probably buy one back at some point. My favorite watch of all time is the Submariner in any configuration. I wear my 124060 a lot and can not say enough good things about it. Personal choice as they are both great.

Coin flip. Both are that good.
For me, I'd go Sub first.

I never used to be a fan of the 116710LN but recently it has really really grown on me.

Ive owned a TT Sub, & tried on several others. The length of the clasp is just too long & the crown too big. I sold the TT Sub in 6 months, the shortest time I have kept a new watch. My 5 digit Pepsi is the only watch I regret selling.

I've owned both of those in the past, and currently own the 126610LN and 126710BLNR. If you don't have a compelling need for one of the complications over the other, I would literally flip a coin.

I have gone back and forth between the Sub or GMT as the better watch for years now. Right now I think it's the Sub. It was literally GMT probably a couple of months ago, haha.
