PSA: Rolex USA Service Changes
A few major changes are under way for service in the USA.
1) Lititz training/service center will be closed next year. 2) Beverly Hills RSC will close its doors permanently at the end of 1Q24. 3) Dallas RSC will no longer accept in person drop offs/collections after 1Q24. 4) Dallas RSC will replace the Lititz as the new watchmaking school. https://www.rolexwatchmakingtrainingcenter.com/ |

PSA: Rolex USA Service Changes
FYI, don’t see this info on the website you shared.
Assuming accurate, and as a SoCal resident, #2 is disappointing and surprising. Thanks for sharing. . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not sure I’m disappointed enough for that much effort, we’ll see how the rest of my night goes. I assumed your inclusion of the URL at the bottom was citing your source. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My local AD has at least one or two Rolex certified watchmakers on staff, which I believe is a pretty recent thing. They said the only things they can't do are work on the Skydweller just because they're not as well versed in that newer movement, or do pressure testing on the super deep Sea Dwellers because they lack equipment that heavy-duty that's only relevant for a relatively unpopular watch. Wonder what the turnaround time for a local service would be, versus RSC...

Very interesting. I wonder how many were employed at RSC Beverly Hills?
I know Breitling is running 6 months on a basic service these days. I wonder how hard it is for Rolex to get watchmakers, or if this is in anticipation of more and more AD's doing service locally? |

I miss the walk-ins and drop-offs at Dallas RSC. It will be weird mailing my watches 25 minutes from where I live.

So, no more RSC in CA, but expanded operations in TX? Sounds like the crown is joining other businesses in that respect...

Shame about the Pennsylvania facility.
I remember reading an article about it years ago. It seems like the ideal environment for budding watchmakers Link to article https://www.rolex.org/science/an-education-in-precision |

Lititz is a great town - home of Wilbur Chocolates. (One of the Wilbers was my 5th grade teacher back in the 70s). If you've ever had Wilbur Buds, you'll never go back to Hersey Kisses. But, they are hard to find. |

RolexUSA has decided that authorized service centers will be an essential part their new AD locations. Basically passing off all the overhead and headaches of the service department onto the individual ADs. Less expenses and no customer interactions, RolexUSA plays this game with precision.
What’s or whose going to occupy all those floors in their new NYC skyscraper? |

Are the functions of the New York RSC currently being done at the facility in Long Island City, or in Lilith? When the new building is finished will there be no more customer contact there either as in Dallas?
I’m not surprised about Beverly Hills being closed down. I think their services have been limited for awhile now. As far as dealer service goes, I know my Boutique has a service department but when my BLRO needed a warranty checkup they sent it to Dallas. At the local dealer where I live now they do have a watchmaker on staff but not sure how deep his services go. |

PSA: Rolex USA Service Changes
I don’t know what that even means. Who is Bas? You could have just answered , “Noneya”, instead of giving me some cryptic non - answer, that doesn’t make any sense. Can someone please explain to me what the OP means. I was merely asking a logical question. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

If you need a a SoCal service, check out Hayes Jewelers in Laguna Hills. Despite the business name, he’s a Rolex-only watchmaker that’s been doing it since late 70’s. I’m pretty certain that he’s authorized Rolex service . |

Maybe stopping chasing post counts and brush up. A majority of your posts are inaccurate and lack substance. Call the BH RSC tomorrow and ask for yourself. Many said the same thing when CPO news broke early on here. Don’t be ashamed to come back and admit you’re incorrect. Quote:

They are now required to mention the upcoming closing as it requires in person drop offs to collect completed service tickets before end of 1Q24. Watches not collected during this period will be returned via courier. |

I’ve also heard good things about 4 Crowns Watch Service Center, on S. Hill St., in L. A. This info, from the OP,, about RSC closing, as of 03/31/24, was also posted on Reddit, yesterday. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

You basically said "I'm like Bas, you DO NOT question my unsourced rumors". If someone with 1/3rd your experience (that would be, let's see, one month, 12 posts) said "Submariner Dates are getting a Day function", would you not ask "What is your source?" Or would you say "Well, no one would question Bas, I just need to accept this as fact". |
